Are you Using Instagram Stories Effectively?

Instagram is the most popular traditional social media platform for teens (72 % of U.S. teens say they use the photo/video-sharing app) and is increasingly popular for the rest of us – 37% of U.S. Adults use it, too. Is your camp optimizing this channel for engaging your campers, staff, and parents?

What about Instagram Stories? 500 million users now use Instagram Stories every day. Allison Cohen of Orange Door Strategies explains in this detailed article that Stories – where your posts will be available for only 24 hours (sort of) – are fantastic for engaging your audience and turning them into advocates, recruiters and fundraisers for you. Cohen, who also led a session at #JCampConf this year about Instagram Stories, describes fun features available in Instagram Stories and how you can use them to create engaging content for your camp audience.
