Are Your Board Committees As Effective as They Could Be?

One of the things we at JCamp 180 hear from many of our affiliated camps is that their Board Committees are inactive, unproductive, or dysfunctional. Effective committees not only ease the burden on the Board, but committee members who feel like they are making an impact are your best candidates for future Board membership. So how can you make your Board Committees more productive? These 16 questions from Mersky, Jaffe & Associates are a good start.

You can always find additional resources on the JCamp 180 Knowledge Center, like this blog post about finding the right committee for each of your volunteers. And reach out to your JCamp 180 Mentor to discuss your camp’s specific circumstances.
