Do you want your camp to build a sustainable major gifts program?
The new Major Gifts for Your Camp program will help your camp
develop a major gifts action plan ready to launch for your camp. This program is open to any camp regardless of camp size, type, or fundraising history.
Program Outcomes
Participants will take part in six online sessions January-February 2025. These sessions combine learning the fundamentals and related tools for successful major gifts program and will cover topics including:
- Defining “major gifts"
- IDing and qualifying donors/prospects
- Crafting individual engagement and solicitation strategies
- Managing key information and donor data
Participating camps will also take part in six group follow-up sessions March-May 2025 and September-November 2025. These sessions will provide coaching assistance with implementing your plan, troubleshooting obstacles, and peer support to keep your team moving to major gifts success.
Program Dates
The initial 6 sessions will be held from 1-2:30 PM Eastern on the following Wednesdays:
- January 15, 2025
- January 22, 2025
- January 29, 2025
- February 12, 2025
- February 19, 2025
- February 26, 2025
Participating camps will also take part in six group follow-up sessions on dates TBD in March-May 2025 and September-November 2025.
Program Participation
A team (2+ participants) of professional and lay fundraising champions for camp must commit to full participation the program.
