Enrollment GSD for Day Camps

NEW FOR 2026! SPECIAL IN-PERSON SESSION JUST FOR DAY CAMPS

Join JCamp 180 for a day camp focused Enrollment Sprint at the Fall Jewish Day Camp Conference. Bring your team to spend time evaluating your current enrollment practices, identify areas for growth, and create a plan that will help you focus your efforts for Summer 2027. This sprint will involve light prework to get ready and two follow up sessions.

Who it’s for: Professional staff responsible for recruitment/retention at day camps; participation is limited to 8 camps. At least one team member must attend the Jewish Day Camp Conference in person at JCC Camps at Medford from October 12-14, 2026. See below for team participation requirements.

The following dates and times are REQUIRED meetings for your team members.

• Tuesday, September 29 from 1-2:30 Eastern
  • Where: Meeting on Zoom
  • Who: Anyone who touches enrollment or enrollment goals/strategies at your camp should plan to be there
• Monday, October 12 from 10am-2pm (tentative timing)
  1. Where: Meeting in person at the Katz JCC in Cherry Hill, NJ, before the start of the Fall Jewish Day Camp Conference. Philadelphia International Airport is the closest airport, and the 30th Street Train Station in Philadelphia is a convenient option for those using the train.
  2. Who: At least one member of your team is required to be there in person, while other members of your team should plan to be available for consultation via video/phone
  3. Note: The Fall Jewish Day Camp Conference officially starts on Tuesday, October 13 at the JCC Camps at Medford, with a pre Conference tour of Liberty Lake Day Camp on the afternoon of Monday, October 12. Please plan to arrive for Enrollment GSD in time for a Monday morning start.
• Tuesday, October 13 - Wednesday, October 14th
  1. Where: Meeting in person for a breakfast session and one other session during the Fall Jewish Day Camp Conference
  2. Who: At least one member of your team is required to be there in person
  3. Note: Other members of your team should plan to be available for consultation via video/phone
• Post Fall Jewish Day Camp Conference (October - January)
  1. Self-guided work, supported by JCamp 180 if requested
  2. Who: Anyone who touches enrollment or enrollment goals/strategies at your camp
• Monday, January 11 - Wednesday, January 13 (time TBD)
  1. Where: Meeting in person to share ideas, strategies, and takeaways from the program at Foundation for Jewish Camp's Leaders Assembly
  2. Who: The same team member who attended the Jewish Day Camp Conference, plus anyone else from your camp who will be attending Leaders Assembly
