Fundraising

JCamp 180’s fundraising consulting services can transform a camp’s development work by focusing on developing plans, engaging alumni, creating Legacy societies, and securing buy-in for fundraising efforts by everyone. Undergirded by our philosophy of promoting a deep Culture of Philanthropy within Jewish summer camps, we support a wide range of camps, both small and large, with or without professional development staff, to succeed in building effective development efforts to ensure long-term vitality and sustainability. Our services are tailored to your camp’s needs and adaptive to the specific development goals you have set.

We focus our consulting practice in three key areas of development:

Today

Cultivate gifts that go to work right away, through campaigns that encourage sustained ongoing support and build donor loyalty.

Annual Fundraising

Tomorrow

Activate campaigns that accomplish big and lasting projects and inspire larger gifts and grow the total number of donors.

Capital Campaigns

Forever

Grow an endowment in a campaign for outright gifts and pledged after-life gifts to ensure the organization is enduring.

Legacy Fundraising

Services

Training & Coaching

JCamp 180 trains both year-round professional staff and lay leadership in the 5 steps of the fundraising cycle: identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.

Planning

JCamp 180 works with camps to develop comprehensive annual development plans; capital, annual, or legacy fundraising campaign plans; major donor prospect plans; and more.

Support and Implementation

JCamp 180 works with camps to assess and identify structures to support development success, including donor databases, communications, major donor prospect management; and more.

The JCamp 180 process is truly unique. The mentoring and consulting support they have provided gave our camp the motivation, resources and drive we needed to jump start our fundraising program and solicit and cultivate significant gifts. However, it is their ability to put the development process in the framework of overall successful non-profit management that enables them to create such a dynamic and innovative consulting model.
