Quickly adapting to the impact and limitations of COVID-19, and to continue to support our camps and their amazing lay leaders, JCamp 180 took a leap with our LEAP program and took it online for what typically would have been the group’s 2nd in-person two-day meeting in Chicago.
LEAP Program Director Natasha Dresner adjusted the content to reflect currents needs, questions, and realities. Here is what participating board and camp committee chairs had to say about the sessions, held virtually from Sunday, April 26 through Thursday, April 30:
I liked how everything felt relevant and applicable to the current situation. Especially philanthropy.
Printed materials are excellent and very helpful. Mentoring and facilitation are excellent. Discussions are invaluable.
Good spacing of Zooms so we didn’t feel overwhelmed. I thought it was really helpful to have in the midst of this communal crisis. Thank you!”
