- What is the overall mix of revenue streams for your camp?
- How does that compare to peer camps?
Questions like these can now be answered visually, thanks to JCamp 180's Executive Dashboard Initiative (JEDI).
Our team - led by consultant Herschel Singer - synthesizes the data that you and your peer camps provide each year in the Camp Census* to create individualized dashboards for camps.
For the most recent available data (2021), we have initially focused on revenue. As you can see in the short video above, these dashboards help visualize your camp's revenue streams and compare them to an anonymized set of camps of similar revenue size.
If you would like your camp's 2021 revenue dashboard provided to your staff or board, please let us know.
Do you have ideas for how we can improve these dashboards? Thoughts about what other data you'd like to see visualized in this way? Let us know - we plan to continue to grow this project to help answer additional questions at your camp.
And don't forget:
this year's Camp Census is now open. Please be sure to carefully submit your camp's data! Please contact the
Foundation for Jewish Camp if you have any questions about completing the Camp Census.
* The Camp Census is led by the Foundation for Jewish Camp and supported by JCamp 180 and other organizations and movements supporting nonprofit Jewish camps.
