Apply Now and Work Smarter for Your Camp in 2022

Today JCamp 180 has opened applications for the 2022 classes of our most popular learning programs for camp professionals and lay leaders – LEAP, GIFT Leadership Institute, and Life & Legacy® for JCamp 180.

In addition, we are excited to announce a new option for strategic planning for camps called Camp GPS.
  • Applications for LEAP, Life & Legacy® for JCamp 180, and Camp GPS are due November 1.
  • The GIFT Leadership Institute application has two parts: 
    • Preliminary application showing interest and providing potential team members, due October 25.
    • Individual team member applications, due November 1. (link will be provided after the preliminary application is submitted)

LEAP (Leadership Engagement and Advancement Program) is a skill and capacity-building training program designed for board or camp committee chairs and vice chairs of JCamp 180 affiliated overnight and day camps. You can learn more about LEAP and apply for the 2022 cohort here.   

GIFT Leadership Institute
(GLI) guides camp leadership teams from JCamp 180 affiliated day and overnight camps (and parent agencies) through an organization-wide breakthrough to instill a transformative Culture of Philanthropy in their organization. Through GLI, camps will develop a  new, energized approach to how the organization thinks about, talks about, organizes for, and engages in fundraising. LIFE & LEGACY® for JCamp 180
provides training, support, and monetary incentives to motivate Jewish overnight and day camps affiliated with JCamp 180 to secure after-lifetime commitments with the aim of building permanent endowments that will sustain vibrant Jewish camps for years to come. JCamp 180 is excited to be launching a new option for strategic planning in 2022 - Camp GPS. This program offers JCamp 180 affiliated overnight and day camp teams the opportunity to map out their strategic direction and goals for the coming years through a high energy, short-timeframe group planning process. Camp GPS will combine real-time online work with offline team meetings to Generate Purposeful Strategies and produce a useful one-page strategic plan to serve as your roadmap to the future.
