Resiliency. Grit. Flexibility. Creativity. All Forged at Camp.

We have been amazed by the way YOU - camp professionals and lay leaders at nonprofit Jewish camp - have responded to the crisis this year.

But we haven’t been surprised.

Why? Because we know that the lessons learned at camp include all of the tools needed to respond during a crisis: Resiliency. Grit. Flexibility. Creativity.

We’ve heard many incredible stories of how camps have responded, and the incredible impact of camp on individuals and entire camp communities.

This story from Allison Blonder, Shalom Institute Program Director and Camp JCA Shalom Day Camp Director (and URJ Greene Family Camp alum) is a fantastic example of these stories. Thank you Allison for sharing this story with us and your peers!
