JCamp 180 is pleased to welcome Adam Nickels who is interning with us this semester. Adam is helping JCamp 180 think about camp alumni engagement to develop a set of best practices. Help us improve our offerings - stay tuned for more on this project including a request to complete a short survey on the topic!
Originally from London, UK, but currently residing in Cambridge, MA, Adam moved to the US in January 2021 to continue his studies in the Hornstein Jewish Professional Leadership Program at Brandeis University. He will be getting an MA in Jewish Professional Leadership and an MA/EdM in Jewish Educational Leadership.
Prior to joining Hornstein, Adam was the Executive Director at BBYO UK and Ireland, and worked there for almost four years. He has a deep love and passion for Jewish summer camps and has held many positions over the years ranging from a high ropes instructor to both Assistant Director and Camp Director.
Outside of the work world, he is an avid musical theatre fan and loves to cook and travel.
Please join us in welcoming Adam to the team!
