Get involved! YOU can help ensure camp can run this summer

The recent rollout of the Covid-19 vaccines is certainly great news! We are looking forward to the thousands of stories of children growing at #jewishcamp this summer.

But there is still uncertainty about camps’ ability to open this summer in some parts of the country. State and local rules COULD prevent camps from creating lifelong memories in-person.

So, what can YOU do?

Get involved in state-wide efforts in your own state and locality. There is likely advocacy already happening in your area – learn who is involved and how your staff and lay leaders can help.

The American Camp Association (ACA) has several resources to help you get started with your advocacy work:

You can also find all these resources (and more) on the ACA Public Policy page.

BONUS: The ACA is offering free memberships right now during Covid-19. This will allow your team to access ALL the helpful resources they provide.
