The story of Passover is as relevant as ever this year. We tell the story of the liberation of our ancestors, and we recount the ten plagues. In a year where the COVID pandemic - our own modern-day plague - finally began to recede, some of us continue to face mudslides, massive snows, and rains. Many around the world face turmoil, conflict, war, and exile. We might wonder, what is next?
Even with all the craziness in the world, we can count on Jewish camp to ground us and help make sense of these complexities and paradoxes. And we are comforted knowing that thousands of Jewish children and staff are headed into a summer of joy at their favorite places on earth.
We wish you and your loved ones a joyous holiday, and may this Passover renew your strength.
