Strategy, Planning & Change: The Case for Supporting Jewish Summer Camp

At the Jewish Funders Network (JFN) meeting held in San Diego in April, major philanthropists were presented with a Greenbook, which makes the case for contributing to Jewish Summer Camps. This Greenbook can serve as a valuable reference to camp staff and board members in fundraising efforts, helping understand what potential donors hope to accomplish through investing in camp. The Greenbook can be downloaded for free from the JFN website.

Technology & Outreach: The Future of Capacity-Building is Collaborative

One of the core skills camp provides campers and counselors is collaboration. Camps also provide incredible training programs for staff and campers. When you marry collaboration among peers with training programs, you create a powerful tool for building capacity in the participants of the training. How can camps most effectively provide collaborative training? JCamp 180 Technology Program Manager Kevin Martone co-wrote this article with Debra Askanase, Andrea Berry, and Rene Swink for the Nonprofit Technology Network about collaborative training and what makes it work.
